Through the planned curriculum provided by our qualified staff team we encourage your child to grow and develop whilst giving you the security and peace of mind that they are safe and happy.
Butterflies Nursery
The activities offered at Butterflies Nursery are built on the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, which will make a positive contribution to children’s early development and learning. The range of activities includes free play, sand, water, creative, music, stories and much more.
The Butterflies Nursery building is part of the Oldham College campus and situated next to the main building, making it easy to drop off and collect your child. We also have a large, well-equipped outdoor play area for children to develop their physical skills.

Term time Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.30pm Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm
Childcare Places For 6 months -5 Year Olds
Butterflies is registered with Ofsted to offer childcare places for children aged between 6 months and 5 years old whilst parents study at College. We provide a high quality service catering for children’s needs through the planned curriculum.
Getting a Place
Places are offered on a first come, first served basis. Places get taken up very quickly, so to find out more about Butterflies, please call 0161 785 4090.
Bursary Support
Students with a household income of up to £34,400 may be able to get help with their childcare costs from the college Bursary Fund. For more information including full terms, conditions and eligibility criteria please below.
Fee Structure Policy
Study Time For Parents Available
We may be able to offer childcare at Butterflies whilst parents use non-timetables sessions for private study through consultation with course tutors.
