Employer Support and Funding

Did you know? There is financial support in place that as an employer you can claim to help deliver a T Level placement or apprenticeship.

Read on to learn more about the funding options available to you.

T Level employer support fund

All employers* are eligible to receive payments for legitimate costs incurred in offering an industry placement that starts between 1 April 2023 and 31 March 2024.

It is down to the providers to decide what employers’ costs they will reimburse. Funding can be allocated for things including:

• Administrative costs, such as setting up organisational systems or renting a workspace
• Training costs, such as training existing staff to develop their knowledge
• Tangible costs, such as for equipment, insurance or transport.

Employers can host as many students as they’d like to, but cannot claim for more than £25,000 total.

Employers can access funding through the support fund regardless of any funding claimed under previous schemes – however, the funding claimed under this fund must not be for costs that have also been covered by any other government funding.
